Abstract

Connected Vehicle Platforms are transforming intelligent transportation by enabling secure Automotive Telematics, Vehicle-to-Cloud Communication, and real-time vehicle data analytics. This study presents Smart Connect SDK, a cloud-native software development framework designed to support Real-Time Vehicle Data Acquisition, intelligent diagnostics, fleet management, and secure connected mobility services. The platform integrates an in-vehicle DataLogger with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and RESTful APIs to securely collect and transmit vehicle telemetry, sensor data, onboard diagnostics, and operational information. Secure connectivity is achieved through encrypted communication, authenticated device pairing, and integrity verification, ensuring compliance with modern automotive cybersecurity requirements. The proposed architecture supports Fleet Monitoring, predictive maintenance, remote diagnostics, Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware updates, geolocation services, and scalable cloud storage to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. Its modular cloud-native design enables seamless interoperability across diverse automotive ecosystems while supporting artificial intelligence-driven predictive analytics, electric vehicle integration, autonomous mobility, and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Integration. The proposed Connected Vehicle Platform provides a secure, scalable, and intelligent foundation for next-generation mobility, enhancing driver safety, fleet performance, vehicle lifecycle management, and data-driven decision-making across connected transportation systems.
